The socks are as effective on carpet as they are on non-carpeted surfaces. I was gratified when my father had stepped on a later-seen wet spot and never slipped or slid. I would advise persons to avoid stepping on any wet spot but in my instance the product didnt slip out from underneath my father when hed stepped on that later-seen wet spot.
