Soft landing

Lesser Quality Product

This is the drive medical padded commode seat. The problem is the quality of the manufacturer of this seat has dropped notably. It is not as strong as it was 3 years ago when they had production chain problems and the seat replacements were unavailable for about a year. Since coming back the seats have been notably weaker and I have broken three of them simply by transferring to them. I've lost weight not gained it over that time. So it is quite definitely a seat quality and manufacturing quality issue not anything that has changed on my end. This is frustrating but it is not a criticism of parent giving who delivered the product quickly. I'm recommending this only because it's the only seat that fits their steel drop arm commode which is roomier than most similar commodes without getting into bariatric sizes.

Pros:Only see that fits the drive drop arm commode

Cons:Market drop in quality, specifically durability and strength. Two out of three break in the first week of transfers. The third one can last as long as a year without any difficulty. Horrible quality control and manufacturing process

Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.

Seems like a good product.

Works fine, so far. Reasonable quality. A little larger than expected. Mum didn't complain that it was uncomfortable, so probably wasn't. Feels fine to me.

Pros:Pretty good quality, fits firmly in place over Mum's Lumex 7103A-4 in an unusual way, but one that works.

Cons:The gap in the front is a bit too big for my mother.

Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.

Good Service

I was glad to find a replacement after my mother's original seat broke and was faced with buying a new commode. The price is fair and i received it quickly.

Pros:The fact that it is padded is a bonus. Also it is very secure.

Cons:Unfortunately my mother's seat is too high now. The padding adds an extra 2 inches and her commode is at the lowest slot, so we cannot lower the frame.

Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
