Specifications:
Needed stronger bed rails fo my wife who has fallen out of bed several times, the first ones we bought were for children and too light resulting in one getting bent up beyond repair.
Cons:Have difficulty trying to get the safety straps to tighten when applied using the directions
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
item is too tall; when folded down hoyer lift won't roll under it as it is too close to the floor therefore you can't get hoyer lift under bed.
Cons:bolts used at swivel joints are too short to go all the way thru the self locking nuts as required for nuts to lock on threads resulting in self locking nuts fell off
Overall: No, I would not recommend this product.
Just what the caregiver wanted! This is a handy, easy, necessary addition to my husband's bed. He is a very advanced Parkinson's patient, who is extremely difficult to manage in bed. It does not provide for grab bar status, but holds his glasses, a flashlight, urinal, etc. Oh yes, and the best thing is that it certainly keeps him off the floor, where sharp corners are lurking.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
