Product Details

  • Adding a support rail to a bed gives caregivers peace of mind because it helps keep loved ones safe. Stander's 30" Safety Bed Rail & Padded Pouch works well as a side rail for preventing falls, and as a support bar for getting in and out of bed. The rail folds down and out of the way when it is not in use - a great feature when it's time to make the bed. It can be installed on either side of the bed in between the mattress and box spring. The 30" Safety Bed Rail & Padded Pouch attaches to the bed frame with a dual safety strap which provides stability and keeps it from getting bumped out of place. It works on most traditional home beds and at 23” high will accommodate taller pillow top mattresses.

Great product so far

Needed stronger bed rails fo my wife who has fallen out of bed several times, the first ones we bought were for children and too light resulting in one getting bent up beyond repair.

wrong hardware

item is too tall; when folded down hoyer lift won't roll under it as it is too close to the floor therefore you can't get hoyer lift under bed.

Fold down bed guard

Just what the caregiver wanted! This is a handy, easy, necessary addition to my husband's bed. He is a very advanced Parkinson's patient, who is extremely difficult to manage in bed. It does not provide for grab bar status, but holds his glasses, a flashlight, urinal, etc. Oh yes, and the best thing is that it certainly keeps him off the floor, where sharp corners are lurking.
