I bought this for a hard-of-hearing employee in a call center I manage. We were constantly fielding customer complaints about him "pretending" not to hear callers, not responding, etc. Truth was, he couldn't hear them! Now he does; he's happy, I'm happy, and the complaints have stopped. It's so much easier to not be perceived as rude when you can hear properly.
Pros:Tone is adjustable, not just volume. Works with call-center headset, turning itself on and off to conserve battery life.
Cons:None so far - user is very happy with product.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
