My husband has had many years of dealing with incontinence due to his MS. We've had surgical interventions which helped during the day. Tried many different diapers, but daytime leakage was finally (mostly) handled. Nights, however, have been hell. The surgical implant did nothing to slow the flow, in fact, the output got worse. Despite many different combinations of diapers, booster pads, super boosters and diaper covers, he was still leaking through 2 extra heavy duty washable bed pads as well as 1 or 2 disposable pads almost every night. Just couldn't stop the leakage. Then a parent giving phone support person came up with a suggestion. My husband is a side sleeper. He really wants to use "pull-ups". The leakage was coming from around the legs. He has a large tummy and skinny legs. So, no matter how many measurements I took, there was basically no solution to fit the need. The Abena knit panty was suggested by the phone rep. It sure looked weird, and nothing like anything we had tried, but washing bed pads every night was making me desperate. These crazy looking pants have solved our problem. The gentle elasticized mesh around the leg openings have stemmed the nightly tide. In the three weeks we have been using them we have had only 2 leaks to the washable pads.
Pros:They work for us. I rinse them out every morning, they are dry an hour later. They are relatively inexpensive. We are still on the first pair, three weeks later.
Cons:Not a one.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
not what we expected, though fit was good.
Pros:none
Cons:Did not care for at all. Just not for her.
Overall: No, I would not recommend this product.
