Speak With a Licensed Care Manager

In a Crisis? Call 1-800-GET-CARE(438-2273) for immediate access to a licensed care manager.

Whether you are a new caregiver or have been caring for your aging parent for years, Parentgiving.com is the one resource that will answer your questions, reduce your stress, streamline your time, and simplify your life. To that end, Parentgiving is offering a key service to assist caregivers: live help from a certified care manager.

For caregivers who are facing a crisis situation or just need to speak with a certified professional right away, Parentgiving will be offering live help by phone.

Over the phone, the certified care manager can conduct an initial evaluation of the situation and refer you to local resources for ongoing, in-person assistance. Some of the issues you can talk to the care manager about include:

  • Assessment of the need for home care
  • Assessment of the need for outside care, including day care, assisted living, nursing home options and hospice
  • Legal and financial assistance
  • Interaction with medical supply and service providers
  • Medicare, insurance and other government benefit programs

To access this fee-based service, users will be asked to:

  1. Complete and submit an online form or call 1-800-GET-CARE(438-2273).
  2. Read and accept the legal agreement.

A licensed care manager will return the phone call or respond to the online inquiry within 15 minutes. Users also will have the option to schedule a specific appointment for a future time.

Fees are $99 for up to 45 minutes with a licensed care manager, social worker or nurse. The professional will ask and answer questions and may provide a local referral for follow-up or continued assistance.
