Our most popular bed transfer handle design is available for spring based hospital beds too. The Transfer Handle Bed Rail by Mobility Transfer Systems (MTS) eases bed transfers, helps prevent falls and injuries, improves in-bed mobility and assists with standing and balancing. Steel handle. 4in. internal width of the handle helps prevent entrapment. Fits any size or style spring based hospital bed. Installs easily with a bed board that sits on top of the springs. The rail shown is a Single. The Double rail contains 2 of the rails shown.

A great product
Great product. Purcahsed for 99 year old mother with both hips replaced several years ago. She is in an Assisted Living Home. Same type as used in Rehab and Nursing Home. Exactly what she need to get in and out of bed.| Pros: | Meets or exceeds FDA guidelines. Simple and effective. Economical priced. |
| Cons: | Assisted Living Home would not accept this design. Their reason was that Nursing Homes used them and they did not want to look like a Nursing Home. Nothing could be attached to the bed. Allowed a self standing pole by bed. Not as good as this product. Another business that puts looks over the safety of their clients. |

My wife likes the added security for getting out of bed.
This was easy to install, and my wife really likes having something to help her get in and out of bed without loosing her balance and falling.| Pros: | Easy to install and takes up very little room |

A godsend for enabling my 95 yr old father to be independent getting in & out of bed!
It was difficult to find a "grab bar" for a hospital bed. The short side bars that came with the bed prevented my father from getting in and out of the bed independently. The med supply did not have or know about this type of transfer handle.| Pros: | Transfer handle works very well when person does not need side rails to prevent rolling out of the bed. Good price! |
| Cons: | It took two people to install. Suggestions from another review were helpful regarding installation. Also, it would be good if height was adjustable. |

A good compromise for a good price.
We didn't need a full bed rail just something secure and sturdy that would allow for ease with positioning and moving to and from bed.| Pros: | Simple straightforward, does what it's suppose to do. Also provides a bit of security within the bed like a true bed rail. |
| Cons: | Though it is pretty easy to install there are a few things that could be done to make it easier. I did need to use clamps to press the unit against the frame and I added washers to make it easier to tighten the knobs that hold the bed board against the springs. It is 23" tall which is in our case at times can obstruct view of TV thus the handle must be removed or lowered which is easy, but still. It would be nice if it had the option of locking at multiple heights similar to mechanisms used in adjustable canes and walkers. |

Installs easily on hospital bed. Fits between bed and our full bedrail, so we could remove full bedrail during the day and still have a support to assist in sitting up and getting out of bed during the day. Price was very competitive with other sites.
