Smart-Rail Bed Rail 
Unlike fixed-style bed rails, the Smart-Rail™ can unlock and pivot outwards to provide better standing and transferring support. Unique "Safety Latch" design provides positive locking of rail at bedside and easy unlocking. Lift rail 1/25mm to unlock for 1 to 3 step transfer in open position. Installs in seconds by inserting the support frame between the box spring and mattress, securing with safety straps, and adjusting the rail height. Fits conventional box spring and mattress beds. Rail height adjusts to 31.5" and is 16.5" wide. For 8-12 inch mattresses, use Smart-Rail Leg Extenders to adjust rail height from 31.5" to 34.5". This rail can be used on Twin, Full, Queen and King size beds.

Just OK
Wanted this mainly for support for night time wakings.| Pros: | Provides some support on rising from bed |
| Cons: | Extenders didn't work at all and found out they are not returnable. |

Very Sturdy
Product secures to the bed so that my father can put all of his weight on it to help assist in and out of bed. I'm going to purchase one for my Mother's bed as well| Pros: | The movable feature is nice, as then you can swing it out and have a small rail by the bed side. |
| Cons: | Needed Dad to be sitting on the bed to adjust the height just right. |

Good looking comfortable support needed to sit up

A must have!
An excellent product and a good price! It gives me peace of mind to know my dad doesn't have to strain to get out of bed. It gives him that extra support he needs to sit up and get out of bed. It's great for both pulling up and pushing down.| Pros: | It's safe, sturdy, and easy to install. The swing-out feature is especially nice. No extenders needed! |

A wonderful security product
This has given me (wife) a secure feeling that he will not fall out of bed again. Also, the way it opens up the bed space and access is not comprimised. We did need the leg extendors. It is now perfect.| Pros: | My children were able to set it up with only 1 false reading of the instructions |

Simple to install directly from the box
Mom is a stroke patient and needed assistance in getting in and out of bed. with this transfer rail she is more independant.

Smart bed rail
It was all I wanted. M patient is doing very well with it. I had no problem installing it and it has made my friend much safer.

Smart Rail
I purchased this product for my 87 yr. old mother. It has been a tremendous help for her, not only getting out of bed, but helping her position herself once she's in bed. It installed easily, but was definitely a 2-person job!
