Security Bed Rail 18 inch

This 18" bed rail fit exactly as specified, was easy to assemble and worked for my needs.

My 92 year old mother who has Alzheimers fell out of bed three times. A bed with rails would cost almost $1,500 and Medicare wouldn't help pay for it. I was going to buy it for her, when I googled "bed rails" and found the Parentgiving store online. What a life saver! Not only was the price reasonable, the service was great! Thank you SO much!

I purchased these rails for my special-needs kids who were too big for the rails designed for small children. The 18 in. width is perfect because it gives them enough support to stay in bed, but they don't have to remove it to get out of bed. I don't think they could push it out if they tried because the base goes really far under the mattress and has a slip resistant cover to keep it in place. I love the fact that there are no plastic fittings to break!

The original webpage photo for these rails showed a length of about 30 inches although it was labeled 18 inches, so we thought that was the height. We ordered and received a short 18 inch long rail - not what we expected. A phone call to explain was met with an immediate apology and an admission of inadequate description for the item. Within minutes the webpage was updated with far more descriptive information and more appropriate options. Arrangements were immediately made to ship the correct item and pickup the first for return. The 18" x 30" double rails turned out to be the ideal solution to our needs - well made, easy to install and use, and attractive in appearance. An attractive price is nice, but the superior service offered by ParentGiving is far more important. This kind of service is what makes the difference, and we appreciate it greatly.

The only thing that would be better would be the ability to adjust the length.
