Xeroform Petrolatum Gauze Dressing is a non-adherent dressing impregnated with 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate in a petrolatum blend on fine mesh gauze. This causes bacteriostatic action on lightly-exuding wounds to occur, cleaning and healing keep wounds clear of bacteria. Xeroform gauze clings and conforms to all body contours and can be used for compression therapy as well as deep or shallow wounds. Xeroform dressings help protect the wound bed, aid in keeping a moist healing environment, and is non-traumatic to the patient during dressing changes.
