Seat riser made of two parts which are hinged together, allowing the ring to be lifted in the same manner as your standard toilet seat.
Unique hinged seat. Use standard toilet seat and lid. Features a seat riser made of two parts which are hinged together, allowing the ring to be lifted in the same manner as your standard toilet seat. Installed using a standard toilet seat and cover and does not appreciably change the appearance of the toilet. It elevates the seating position by 3¨ (7.6 cm) for easy sitting and rising. The hinged feature makes cleaning as easy as 1-2-3. Hardware kit included. Due to hygienic reasons, this item is not returnable once the inner packaging is opened.

Great idea - poor follow up

As needed the 4" hinged seat came with a long bolt. The instructions showed a flat head bold but a half circle/high head bolt came with the seat. Unable to locate a flat head-long bolt at hardware store. Don't look forward to having toilet lid that won't stay in the up position when needed or having to look at toilet bolts. Ruins the decor. Have asked PG for assistance in this matter.
