Adjustable-height, removable home bed assist rail by Drive Medical. No-slip foam grips. Easy, tool-free assembly.

This adjustable height home bed assist rail/handle from Drive Medical provides assistance for geting into and out of your home-style bed. You won't have to worry about the fit since the handle attaches to either side of the bed. It simply slides underneath the mattress and includes an added feature on the base bar: no-slip foam that helps hold the bar in place. The removable handle is part of an all-steel chrome-plated construction that is strong, solid and easy to clean. The unit arrives in three pieces and can be assembled quickly and tool-free, and it also can be adjusted flat for easier storage. The 19.75"W x 13.5"H x 32.75"D rail can withstand a weight capacity of 250 pounds and is protected by a limited lifetime warranty. The manufacturer does not recommend this rail for use in an adjustable bed. Please note: This rail now has legs that extend to the floor. This rail can be used on Twin, Full, Queen and King size beds.

	I purchased this item for my mothers use as she was having defficulty getting in and out of bed. It was easy to take apart and reassemble while traveling. By: tiki This item has been extremely helpful for my mother allowing her to get in and out of bed without any assistance.
	Bed Rail By: jo It was high enough for a thick mattress and is very sturdy.
	The intended use. By: DellDaleClyde This did not fit the use my wife had in mind. This item would assist her in getting in and out of bed, but it is much too wide and does not work well with a bedelevates because it needs to be below the break (elevation point). That, therefore, put the assist further down on the bed and encumbers her from swinining her feet over and getting out. She has limited mobility and can't sit up in bed, to maneuver around this assist. Therefore, it is not being used. I no longer have the carton it came in.
	Great quality but not adjustable enough By: Catpurrson Please measure your bed before ordering. If the top of your box springs is SHORTER than 16" above the floor, these rails will be too tall to use without modification. I had to cut two inches off of the adjustable part of the metal legs so the support frame would fit flat between the box springs and mattress. Now they are permanently shortened and cannot be used with any other bed.

	Good Quality - needed altering By: Blur Bird We were very pleased with the quality of this item but it could not be used on my father's bed without altering it. His box spring is on the floor to make it easier for him to transfer into his wheelchair (no standard bed frame). We used a hack saw and portable drill to make the changes. Not easy but doable if you are determined and mechanically minded. You have to think about it. Once you cut the pipe and re drill for the spring lock - there is no going back.
	Bed Rail By: GLW I liked this product but was unable to utilize it since we were using a futon. The poles did not allow for comfort under the mattress.

	Bed Rail Assist by Drive By: Grateful Daughter I purchased this for my 84 year old mother to increase her independence in getting in and out of bed. The product was very easy to install although I had to make some minor adjustments for the rails to fit her bed. My mother was very pleased with the end results and it has greatly increased her independence. The price was much lower than any product I was able to find in my area. Great service and quick delivery!!
	Bed Rail By: HappyBuyer I was skeptical whether this would be robust enough since I had a picture on the web to go by, but it turned out to be just fine. Works great, and fits a twin bed with no issue at all. Very happy with it.
	Bed Rail Assist by Drive By: Caring son I think this product would have been just fine,but the distance from the floor to the top of the box spring was not high enough for the product to be usable. Probably my error for not picking up on the measurement given on the fact sheet prior to ordering and checking with the bed height. Just assumed it would adjust and be usable. It was not and I returned it. Bummer,and had to pay the shipping fee of almost $20 to return it.
	Bed Rail Assist by Drive By: Caregiver for 2 I got this for an 86 year old lady and it is wonderful! It was so simple to assemble and get in place(took 5 minutes)and then it was just a matter of making one height adjustment and moving it once toward the head of the bed. This is very sturdy and priceless for the peace of mind it gives both of us when she has to get up at night. The item arrived quickly and I'm going to order another one tonight for her 89 year old husband. Thank you much!
	Bed Rail Assist by Drive By: Caretaker The picture that was on the internet by Parentgiving did not have the legs that extend to the floor I had purchased on with legs at local medical supply by Drive and returned it because the legs did not close enough to fit out bed. So seeing the one as pictured on the site I ordered it. Much to my frustration the same model I'd returned arrived at my house, Upon research was told the design was changed. I am waiting for it to be picked up by UPS
	Well worth it By: Beverly My father loves this bed rail that I bought for him. It's a little pricey but worth it. The cheaper ones don't adjust in height like this one... This one is also a little longer/wider than the cheaper ones. We also like the comfortable foam handgrip. It arrived incredibly fast. I think it was the next day.
