Buying for myself

After being on crutches for 3 months, I developed calluses on the palms of my hands. So I wanted a cane with a soft grip. The silicone handgrip is very comfortable. It also is nice when you put your cane down, the grippy nature of the silicone ensures that the cane doesn't slip off whatever you lean it against. Overall, I am very happy with this cane - I saw it on other websites for twice the cost!!
Pros:The handle and tip glow in the dark, which I thought was just a silly bonus. But it is very helpful when I get up in the middle of the night. It is easy to find my cane, and I can see where I am planting the tip as I walk.
Cons:It would be nice to have some type of big rubber band to hold it together when it's folded up.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
