I have a quilted pad by Salk and I was looking for the same thing. The one I have was from Hospice and I wash it just about every day and it looks great. This one was a disappointment, it's not quilted, the edges roll up and it's too thin to absorb a lot.
Pros:Washable. Does not let wetness through.
Cons:Too expensive for such a simple piece of felt covered rubber. You have to dry on low, takes forever! Does not feel nice .
Overall: No, I would not recommend this product.
No more changing the entire bed in the middle of the night, comes in large enough size that bed is protected with an active patient
Pros:flannel side is comfortable against the skin, no seams or hems to make lumps
Cons:edges curl and do not lay smoothly (pads with flannel on both sides do not curl)
Overall: Yes, I would recommend this product.
