Return Policy

Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and wish to return it, please check the suppliers return policy on the product page or call Customer Service at 888-746-2107 to confirm. Returnable items are accepted for return between 15, 30, or 60 days from purchase depending on the supplier. Most items are returnable. Exceptions are noted on the product page and include but are not limited to Special Order items, hygienic and sterile items, garments, cushions and pillows. Most (see “Exclusions below) items can be returned within 15, 30 or 60 days of the purchase date, provided they are in resalable condition, new, unused and in the original retail packaging, and, if applicable, in their original sealed internal packaging, and have all documentation, warranty cards, manuals and accessories. After the 15, 30 or 60 days as specified on the product page we are unable to accept products for return. For all returns you are responsible for the delivery and return shipping costs (excluding defective or erroneously shipped items).

Before returning any product(s), you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number; no returns will be accepted without an RMA number. When calling to obtain an RMA, make sure to have the following information handy: customer name, order number, and reason for the return.

Note that you will be returning the product to one of our distribution centers and NOT to the Parentgiving office in Montclair, NJ. The RMA number should be clearly written on the return address label only. Do not write on the shipping box. Packages received without an RMA number will be refused and sent back to you.

RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from issue. Items must be returned within 10 days of issue of the return request.

Defective and Erroneously Shipped Items
If you need to return a product that is defective or that was shipped in error, we apologize for your inconvenience. Please contact us within ten (10) days of the purchase for an RMA number and we will reimburse you for both the original and return shipping costs. At your request, Parentgiving will arrange for the defective product(s) to be picked up from your location for return or provide a prepaid return shipping label at our cost.

Restocking Fees
Some items are subject to a restocking fee. Please see the “Return Information for this Supplier” link on the product description page for the specific restocking fee, if any, that applies for your item.

Exclusions (items that can’t be returned)
Special orders, sterile items (e.g. bandages, dressings), products that are made unsalable once opened (e.g. food, creams, lotions, washes, diapers, toilet appliances, bedding and other exceptions as noted in the product description, are NOT returnable.

How Do I Return Something?

  3. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number and the return shipping address. All products must be returned in resalable condition.

If you paid for the purchase with a credit or debit card, your account will be credited back the amount of the purchase less any shipping charges within fifteen (15) business days of the time Parentgiving receives the returned product(s).

Shipment of Returns
You must arrange for shipment of the product(s) on your own. Please use a service that provides tracking such as FedEx or UPS and retain the tracking number until the credit has been issued. This will be your proof of return. In some cases, for an additional fee, the supplier or Parentgiving can arrange for the product(s) to be picked up from your location or provide a prepaid return shipping label. For all returns, other than defective product(s) or erroneously shipped items, you are responsible for the delivery and return shipping costs.

We recommend that you fully insure your return shipment in the event that it is lost or damaged, and that you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery, since Parentgiving will not be responsible for any losses or damages during return shipping.

Shortages
Any order shortage (missing items) must be reported within 48 hours from receipt of the order at your location. You must count your item(s) upon arrival and document any shortages on your delivery receipt. Please be aware that your order has different products it may shipment in separate boxes from different warehouses and some products may arrive early/later than others.
