There is no shortage of choices for male incontinence or female incontinence. Whether you buy reusable briefs that can be washed or disposable briefs that are worn once and discarded, variations in size, absorbency, fit and materials mean that you can find the right protective underwear for you. The question is really how to determine what is right for you.

 Your first step in shopping for adult diapers should be to determine your unique needs. Do you need overnight protection only or coverage at all times? What level of absorbency do you need? Start by selecting a style from the pull on, snap on, belted, tape on, button and reusable models. Then within the style you’re interested in, look at the features offered by each brand. You’ll see what is available in medium, high, extra and overnight absorbency; urinary and/or bowel incontinence; and whether the design has an elastic leg and a cloth outer.

Careful buying not only gives you the protection you want, but can also saves waste and money because once you open a package of adult diapers, it can’t be returned.
