The super strong ABS plastic material used to manufacture the pail makes Akord both odor and scratch resistant. The plastic won’t turn yellow over time, even if you use bleach to clean it. A rubber seal in the lid locks in odors, keeping them out of the room. Spring loaded trap doors under the lid let briefs drop through while keeping odors in the pail. The lid opens with an easy-to-use foot pedal for no-touch disposal every time.

A clever liner system is used within the disposal pail. A continuous roll of liners is housed in a plastic cartridge, which itself is easy to change with refill cartridges.
